My Journey

Before specializing in engineering, I gained hands-on experience in diverse fields, enhancing my adaptability, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excelling academically, I ranked among the top students in my university and actively contributed to various scientific and practical projects.

My journey across different countries—born in Syria, raised in Jordan, studied in Turkey, and now residing in Belgium—has shaped my perspective and allowed me to develop fluency in Arabic, Turkish, English, and Dutch at varying levels.

Driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous growth, I eagerly explore new challenges and opportunities, always seeking to expand my knowledge and skills.

Leaving My Homeland

As violence escalated in my hometown of Douma, my family was forced to flee to Yabroud, where we spent three unstable months. As the situation worsened, we moved to Jordan to start a new chapter. Adapting to a new environment was challenging, but it became a crucial part of shaping my character and strengthening my ability to navigate change.

FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition

In 2017, I participated in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition, where we designed an EV3 robot to perform various tasks on the competition table. The competition focused on the theme of environmental sustainability, and it was this experience that opened my eyes to the field of Mechatronics Engineering. My passion for robotics and mechanical systems grew significantly after this event. My team, "Robo Ibtikar," and I won the "Rising Star" award in our first competition.
